Example keepsakes
See what a 3D ultrasound can become.
These are finished pieces, shown exactly as a family would open them. Choose one to turn it around, see the portrait, and look through its photographs.
What you are looking at
Evelyn is made from a real 3D ultrasound scan. Everything else is what a studio and a family would see: the portrait, lit and turned to its best angle, the photographs taken of it, and the private page a family can share with the people they love.
What goes into each keepsake
- The scan's own shape. The face comes from the depth in a 3D or 4D ultrasound, not from an artist's guess or a filter over a flat picture.
- Care, not invention. What is not the baby is taken away and rough spots are smoothed. Where a hand covered the face, the gap stays a gap; we never make up a face the scan did not see.
- Something to hold. The finished portrait can be 3D printed into a keepsake in the size and frame the family chooses.
Making one from your own scan
It starts with the 3D volume from a 3D or 4D ultrasound, not only the flat pictures. If you are a sonographer, here is exactly what to export. To make your own, start from the First Likeness home page.
